Security training

Short lessons for the moments that put client work at risk: a password prompt, a shared file, a new AI tool.

`curl -sSf https://get.cybee.dev | sh`

From get.cybee.dev, cybee’s install server. [Read the script](https://get.cybee.dev)

Run it in Terminal, a chat, your IDE or a CLI. Keep working where you started.

Figure: Illustration: someone types one sentence in their AI assistant to assign the security introduction to Luca and Mira. cybee confirms the assignment, shows that none of the two has finished yet, and says each of them sees the lesson in the menu bar.

## Software protects the Mac. People still make the calls.

cybee stops bad software and checks your settings. It cannot decide whether to type a password into an installer, share a folder or give a new AI tool your files. A person decides that, often in a hurry, often an hour before a deadline.

### Your insurer asks about training.

“Is your team trained in security?”

A yes is easier to give when you can show who finished.

before a deal

### A client questionnaire asks the same.

Training sits on the form next to disk encryption and protection. They want an answer they can check.

first week

### Someone new joins the team.

They get a Mac, accounts and a deadline. The introduction can be waiting on day one.

any day

### A prompt asks for a password.

An installer nobody expected, an hour before a client deadline. The next click is a person’s decision.

## Assign in one sentence. See who has finished.

You ask in your AI assistant. Each person sees what is due in the menu bar on their Mac, works through it when they have a moment, and cybee records the day they finish.

Learn Proof plan

### Short lessons about real moments. Not a quiz.

The lessons are built around decisions people make during work, like an installer that asks for the Mac password while a client waits. They show what to check first, in plain words.

[A training checklist for small teams](https://cybee.ai/blog/security-training-small-team/)

Figure: One decision a lesson works through. Nobody ticks these boxes for a score.

Due Proof plan

### Each person sees what is due. On their own Mac.

Your team does not need to learn a new tool. The cybee icon in the Mac’s menu bar shows the training that is waiting, next to the Mac’s status.

[Set up your AI assistant](https://cybee.ai/docs/assistant/)

Figure: One icon in the menu bar. The lesson waits there until Mira starts it.

Recorded Proof plan

### Every finished lesson is recorded. With a name and a date.

Ask your AI assistant who has finished, and you get names, lessons and dates. Anything still due shows up with the person it belongs to.

Completion shows that a lesson was finished. It is recorded separately from your Mac and Workspace evidence.

What it does not do

Training does not certify your company, and it does not guarantee what anyone decides later. It helps people make the call, and it shows who took the lesson.

Figure: What you get when you ask who has finished: names, lessons, dates.

## Built around decisions. The ones your team makes every week.

Protection and safer settings do a lot of the work. People still decide what to share and which access to grant. [How the protection fits](https://cybee.ai/product/).

AI tools

### Check what an assistant asks for.

Before a new AI tool gets your files, your accounts or your terminal.

passwords and tokens

### Spot a secret before you paste it.

Recognise passwords and access keys before you run a command or share code.

installers

### Question an unexpected password prompt.

Stop when an installer you did not start asks for your Mac password.

sharing and app access

### Check who can see a file.

And what an app you connected is allowed to do with it.

a missing laptop

### Know what to check when a Mac goes missing.

Which security questions need attention first.

when to assign

### An introduction, a refresher, lessons by role.

New people start with the introduction. Everyone repeats the refresher once a year.

## Nobody buys security. Somebody else sets a date.

An agency of about ten people, all on Macs. Their insurer sent a security questionnaire.

- 23:41 Found cybee.

- 23:44 Installed.

- 23:47 First record sealed.

- 08:00 Sent to the insurer.

No demo. No call. The insurance policy was issued.

The first record shows what was true that night. Every day after adds history.

A real customer story, shared anonymously.

## Watches programs, not people. What is in your files never leaves your Mac.

### Stays on your Mac

- The contents of your files

- Saved passwords and app tokens

- Detection, checks and fixes

### Leaves your Mac

- Security events, such as a program that was stopped

- Which settings are on

- Which apps, extensions and AI agents are installed, and what the agents are connected to

- What AI tools did, as cybee recorded it. This can include commands and file paths

- What gets stopped is decided on your Mac, not by an AI model on our servers.

- If cybee disappeared, the app on your Macs would keep protecting them.

## Before you assign it.

**Q:** What does cybee not do?

Training does not certify your company or guarantee what anyone decides later. Completion shows that a lesson was finished, and it is recorded separately from your Mac and Workspace evidence. cybee is not a certification or an audit.

**Q:** Is training available now?

Yes. Short lessons, assigning them from your AI assistant and recording who finished are part of the Proof plan.

**Q:** Where do we manage it?

In your AI assistant. Type /cybee to assign lessons and see who has finished. Each person sees the training that is due from the cybee icon in their Mac’s menu bar. [See the setup guide](https://cybee.ai/docs/assistant/).

**Q:** Do we need a separate app for the lessons?

No. You assign and check from the assistant you already use, and your team sees what is due from the cybee icon in the menu bar. There is no login and no password to remember.

**Q:** Does cybee watch what my team does?

No. cybee watches programs, not people. For training it keeps which lessons were assigned and when each one was finished. It does not read your files, your messages or what you type.
