This schedule forms part of the Cybee service terms between cybee AG, Selnaustrasse 5, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland, and the customer. It covers the Cybee security component installed on supported Macs, its included command-line tools and updates supplied by Cybee. It does not concern a mobile or App Store application.
1. Professional use
Cybee is offered only to businesses, including freelancers and sole traders, for business or professional use. By accepting the service terms, you confirm that you act for those purposes and have authority to enter into the agreement for the customer. Private consumer use is outside this offer.
2. Permission to use the software
Subject to the service terms and the applicable plan, cybee AG grants the customer a non-exclusive licence to install and use the software for its business activities on supported Macs that it owns or is authorised to administer. The customer may allow its authorised personnel to use the software for those activities.
This is a right to use the software, not a transfer of ownership. It does not by itself authorise reselling or sublicensing Cybee to other customers. The customer must have the authority and permissions needed for each installation, connected account and requested action. It must not use the software to bypass another person's rights or access controls.
3. Supported interfaces and automation
Use through supported Chat, IDE, CLI and Terminal interfaces, documented MCP connections and supported automation is permitted. Follow the documentation and the Acceptable Use Policy. Connecting an assistant does not authorise it to act outside the access and permissions granted to it.
4. Copies and restrictions
You may make copies reasonably necessary for authorised installation, use and backup. Do not remove proprietary notices, distribute the software outside this licence, bypass licence or security controls, or modify, decompile or reverse engineer it except where Cybee permits this, applicable law allows it or an applicable third-party licence grants that right.
Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. Those licences govern the relevant components where their terms differ from this schedule. Nothing here restricts rights they grant.
5. Compatibility and updates
Use the software on supported configurations described in Cybee's current documentation. This schedule also applies to updates supplied under the service, unless different terms are expressly agreed. It does not itself grant permission for every device change or force consent to automatic updates. The permissions and controls applicable to the relevant function continue to apply.
6. Records, data and ending use
You may use and share your organisation's security records through supported functions, where you have authority to do so. Preserve their date, scope and limitations; do not present them as a certification or a guarantee of security. This licence does not transfer ownership of customer data to Cybee. Personal-data processing is described in the privacy notice and, where applicable, the agreed data-processing terms.
You can cancel the next paid renewal through supported Chat, CLI, IDE or Terminal access. Paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation of a paid renewal does not by itself terminate a licence to use the free plan. Suspension, termination and any remaining obligations are governed by the service terms.
7. Relationship to the service terms
The service terms govern subscriptions, support, warranties, remedies, liability and disputes. This schedule creates no separate response-time, availability or security guarantee. Nothing in this schedule excludes or limits rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude or limit.
