When someone outside asks, knowing is not enough. The Cybee subscription seals that record in a Trust Passport: one link your client can check. It also trains your team and records who finished.
On Free you see what is off and have it fixed, but your client takes your word for it. The Passport covers your Macs. Policies, people, code, suppliers and backups need separate answers.
What exactly is a Trust Passport?
The Trust Passport.
The Trust Passport is a dated record of how your Macs are protected. Your client or insurer opens it through one link and sees what holds, since when, and what Cybee could not see. It is not a certification or an audit, and it does not answer for your policies, your people or your cloud. It says so on the page.
Sealed means the record carries a fingerprint, a short code made from its content. Your client can compare it with the copy Cybee sealed and see whether anything was changed afterwards. That shows the record was not edited. It does not check the facts a second time.
What are the 118 safety settings?
Where the 118 checks come from.
Your Mac has many security settings, such as disk encryption and screen lock. Some are off, and some get switched off over time.
Cybee checks them against the CIS Benchmark, a public, industry maintained list of the safest settings for macOS. Many compliance frameworks accept it as a baseline for secure settings. Checking, fixing and putting a setting back are all free. Three levels set how strict Cybee is. Essential changes nothing and puts back only what Cybee changed. Balanced applies CIS Level 1. Fortress adds Level 2. On a typical Mac, 25, 87 and 97 percent of checks pass with Essential, Balanced and Fortress.
118 CIS Benchmark checks. Cybee also reports how those settings line up with ten frameworks, among them SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS and NIST CSF. That covers the settings on your Macs only, never a whole framework.

Why pay yearly?
Security is judged over a period, not on one day. Audit standards such as SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 look at how controls held across months, and an insurer reads the record after a loss to see whether a control was on that day. The Trust Passport does not replace either. Settings also drift over time. The Trust Passport shows when protection began, and every day it runs adds a day nobody can buy later. Why is protection free?
The protection is free because we want every Mac in a small company protected, including the ones whose owner does not yet believe in security. We earn money when a company has to prove it: the Trust Passport and the training are the Cybee subscription. Free protection is how we meet you. Proof is how we get paid. Free has no limit on Macs or people, and no end date.
What happens if we stop paying?
No new sealed Trust Passports are made, and security training is no longer available. Free keeps running: protection, alerts, the three security levels, fixing and the 118 safety checks. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and paid access continues until the end of the month or year you already paid for.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Monthly is 9 per protected Mac a month, which comes to 108 over a year. Yearly is 90 per protected Mac, which is 18 less.
Which currency, and what about tax?
We show the price in the currency of the country your device is set to, and you can change it under the price. The number is the same in CHF, EUR, USD and GBP. Prices exclude tax, and we add it by country when we invoice in your currency, where possible.
Is there a trial?
Yes, 14 days of the Cybee subscription. Ask your AI assistant for a Trust Passport, or for training, and the Stripe link for your trial arrives in the chat. Asking starts nothing, and you decide in Stripe. Free protection stays free during the trial and after it.
Are there refunds?
All sales are final and no refund will be issued. The no refund rule above applies to cancellation or non use of the current paid period. It does not exclude remedies available under the service agreement or mandatory law, including for incorrect charges or failure to provide the agreed service. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access continues until the end of the month or year already paid for. The full text is on the Cancellation and refunds page.
Will the price rise?
It may. The current price is a deliberate adoption price and may rise. Customers who have already subscribed keep their price.
What counts as a protected Mac?
A protected Mac is a Mac enrolled in Cybee. Every enrolled Mac is billed, with no minimum and no setup fee. The billed number follows your Macs: add one and you pay for one more, remove one and you pay for one less. The unit is the Mac, not the person.
What does the Trust Passport answer on a questionnaire today?
On a typical questionnaire the passport answers, with dates, the questions about your Macs: disk encryption on every device; endpoint protection, and that it is behavioural; since when; operating system and application patch status; screen lock and password on wake; browser extensions and AI tools installed; and how many people completed the security training Cybee assigned, with dates. It does not answer questions about your accounts and MFA (coming soon) or your incident plan (not on the page yet), or about your backups, training outside Cybee, your policies, your code, your suppliers and your people, and it says so on the page.
