Review the plan comparisonProduct scope.
Device protection covers supported Macs. Google Workspace monitoring covers connected accounts. Windows, Linux and Microsoft 365 remain in build and are not represented as current supported coverage.
A Trust Passport is a dated technical record of the assessed devices. It is not a certification, an independent audit opinion or a guarantee that a customer, insurer or other recipient will accept the evidence.
Hardening reduces exposure through configuration. Protection and configuration do not guarantee that every threat will be stopped.
What needs to be explicit before purchase.
The approved terms must define how renewal and cancellation work for each billing period, when any changes take effect, and how a customer is notified.
The product plan states that stopping the paid service ends new sealed records and maintenance of configuration drift. It also affects access to previously shared Passport links after a grace period. The length of that period must be confirmed in the final terms.
A shared record needs an access policy.
The approved terms and cancellation flow must explain what happens to shared links before a customer cancels. “Sealed” must never be confused with “accessible forever”.
