A security alert.
Now what?

You are about to send client work. A warning arrives. You need to understand it before deciding what to do.

cybee brings the Mac, program and time together. Start in the assistant you already use, ask what happened and get help with an unclear finding.

Work through the alert

Illustrative example · invented data

A screenshot was taken.

Example Mac · 09:42Alert DEMO-042 · needs context

“Were you taking a screenshot then?”

Expected work

Match the program and time to the task.

Nobody recognises it

Keep the finding open and ask for help.

Review pendingA notification is the start of the review.

Start with the event.
Then ask the person.

A screenshot could belong to ordinary client work. The alert alone does not settle that question. Read the program, time and device, then ask the person using that Mac what they were doing.

“Explain alert DEMO-042 on Example Mac. Which program was involved, what was recorded, and what do we still need to check?”

Example question only. No assistant is connected on this page.

Choose the next step
from what you know.

If it matches the work

Record the context and check the relevant facts. A familiar explanation is useful; it does not automatically make every related action safe.

If the program is unfamiliar

Keep the alert ID, device, time and description together. Ask support with that context instead of guessing. If a change is requested through Chat, the Mac owner confirms it; then check what actually happened.

If the result is still unclear

Leave it open. An action request is not a completed fix, and an assistant’s explanation is not a substitute for the recorded result.

Reach the people
who can follow up.

SlackTeamsSMS

Share alerts where the team works. Keep a named person responsible for checking the context and following up. Receiving a message does not approve an action or resolve the alert.

This sits alongside everyday Mac protection, software checks and AI tool visibility. When a client later asks how devices are protected, dated device findings can support the answer.

A few practical questions.

What support is included?
Free users have email support. Paid users have 24/7 chat support. This is product support, not a promise of a managed incident-response team or guaranteed resolution time.
Does every alert mean an attack?
No. An alert records behaviour that needs context. Review what was observed, keep uncertainty clear and check the result of any response.
