Ask where you already work.
Use your assistant to ask about device protection, review findings and prepare a next step. A readable answer should show its scope, its dates and what remains unknown.
Connect with the right instructions
After installing cybee on a supported Mac, run cybee connect to set up Claude Code, Claude Desktop or Cursor. Review the connection before using your assistant to manage devices.
MCP is the connection layer an assistant can use to access tools and facts. An AI tool in the inventory is not proof that its connection for controlling cybee is configured. A mapped MCP connection does not restrict that tool’s permissions.
Start with an answerable question
Which Macs need attention? Show the last observation for each and keep unassessed devices separate.
Explain the proposed hardening change, which Macs it affects and how it can be reversed.
Show the record for this Mac and mark anything outside its scope.
Ask about a specific Mac, setting or period. These examples show how to make the scope clear.
Read the answer in four parts
Check that the answer names the intended Mac, when it was checked and anything that could not be assessed.
Confirm changes separately
A question can retrieve a fact. A change to a Mac needs the owner’s confirmation. Read the action, its target and any effect on day to day work before confirming.
Pasting a questionnaire does not approve any change to a device.
Training uses the same assistant: assign short modules and track completion. Security awareness training is included in the paid plan. Security training
Understand the assistant boundary
Summaries you request pass through your assistant’s provider under that provider’s terms. That provider sees what it displays. Detection, hardening and remediation run on the Mac. Security telemetry leaves the device.
Read the data boundariesThe next step is one command.
Protect your Mac, strengthen its settings and keep a dated record of the results.
