What does cybee not do?
It is not a certification or an audit, and it does not answer for your policies, your people or your cloud. It runs on Macs with an Apple chip, M1 or newer. Windows, Linux and Microsoft 365 are not supported today. They are being built.
Is it really free?
Yes. Free has no limit on Macs or people, and no end date. We earn money when a company has to prove it, so you can start long before a client asks.
Protection, the settings checks, the list of AI tools on each Mac and Google Workspace visibility are free. The Proof plan adds safer settings kept on, the sealed Trust Passport and security training, with a 14 day trial. It costs CHFEURUSDGBP 9 per Mac per month, or 90 a year, excluding tax. What does it change on my Mac?
Settings change only when the person who uses that Mac says yes, and nothing from a chat changes a Mac on its own. The install asks for the Mac’s password and for Full Disk Access, so cybee can watch what programs do. Checking changes nothing. You can remove cybee any time. What it installs
Does this replace SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
No. It is not a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report. cybee reports your Macs against 10 compliance frameworks, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 among them, for technical controls only. It answers the questions about your Macs and, once connected, your Google Workspace accounts. Answer the rest of the questionnaire yourself.
What does my client see?
One link: the Trust Passport. Your client opens it and reads which protections held on your Macs, since when, and what cybee could not see. A setting you switched on this week shows this week’s date. It is not a certification, and your client decides whether it is enough.
